Have you ever been cold at your workplace or experienced the air as hot or dry in the office? A good work environment and indoor climate go hand in hand. Indoor climate can ultimately affect efficiency and the ability to do a good job.
We do not want to feel like we are working in the freezer section at the local supermarket when we sit in front of a keyboard. Regarding office environments, there are clear guidelines for temperature management.
Now that autumn is behind us, the temperature should be 20-24 °C. However, temperature alone is not the sole factor in meeting a certain level of feeling well and being productive. CO2 (carbon dioxide) levels must be monitored not to exceed 1000 ppm, the maximum level recommended for indoor climate. The ideal level of carbon dioxide indoors is 600-800ppm. To put things in perspective, it is usually said that the air outside is at about 400 ppm. If CO2 levels rise above 1000 ppm, tenants may experience headaches, irritated mucous membranes, and or difficulty concentrating. Remember, while a building’s ventilation system can’t remove all pollutants in the air, its primary task is to ensure adequate CO2 levels are maintained, providing a comfortable and productive work environment.
If a building struggles to meet the correct levels of clean air or temperature, an EcoAI solution could drastically improve the situation. Our solutions support employers, landlords, and property owners/management companies in their responsibility to systematically examine the work environment to address any aspects that may interfere with occupant comfort.
Our solution was admittedly born from the focus on energy efficiency and climate impact. But as our solution, vision, and values evolved, it became clear that it’s possible to scale up added values as well.
Increasing comfort and helping our customers reach a high customer satisfaction score are now becoming as important an issue as energy and cost savings in buildings have been from the beginning.
We communicate daily with our customers in many active buildings to ensure the work environment maintains the right standard. If you focus on occupational health, an EcoAI solution could support achieving your objectives and create a more comfortable, positive, and productive environment for occupants.
“Many of our active buildings today are schools, and it feels safe for us to know that our vision for climate aid creates added value and comfort for the climate heroes of the future.”
