How much energy we save in an average building

Why do we exist?

We are in the middle of an energy crisis; the world’s energy system is not always able to produce as much energy as we need to live the way we are used to.
The transformation to renewable energy sources is on its way, but it’s too slow. We need new technology to help us tackle the current situation.
Nearly 40 % of the global CO2 emissions come from buildings, and we exist to lower that.

Myrspoven’s 1% vision

Our vision is to globally contribute to the real estate industry’s reduction of the carbon footprint of non-renewable kWh by 1%.

Myrspoven – The world’s most efficient flight

Why are we named after the myrspoven bird? When it comes to energy efficiency, myrspoven (limosa lapponica), is one of nature’s greatest innovators and a great inspiration to us!

Longest Trip

Every winter, this little bird manages to fly roughly 11,000 kilometers nonstop from Alaska all the way to New Zealand, the longest known non-stop flight in the animal kingdom.

Myrspoven bird

The myrspoven manages to finish this large trajectory in less than 10 days, with an energy consumption of 2.2 kWh, displaying one of nature’s most impressive energy efficiency managements known to men.

QinetiQ Zephyr 7

The Zephyr 7 is a military grade aircraft. This airbus broke the official energy endurance world record after finishing a complete flight that lasted for a total of 336 hours, 22 minutes and 8 seconds. Nonetheless, its flight is still -11 500 % less energy efficient than a myrspoven.

Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is a commercial jet airliner engineered for energy efficiency, aiming for a 20% fuel burn reduction and being able to carry 200-300 passengers at the time. Still, its flight is -23 000 % less energy efficient than the flight of a myrspoven.

I find Myrspoven very competent and committed to the projects we have implemented.
Myrspoven's technology is innovative and a natural step forward in the technical development of our properties.

A bit unexpected, we do not only save energy, we have also got an improved indoor climate and learned about faults and weaknesses that we did not previously knew about regarding the heating system.

I believe in this technology! In addition, we are extra excited about taking part of the upcoming ADR-project about load shifting in collaboration with utility companies.
